A power plant is a machine that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy thanks to the magnetic field it passes through. This transformation is achieved by the action of the magnetic field on the electrical conductors arranged on a stator. It has several parts:
The rotor, an internal part of the stator that rotates thanks to a turbine, and the stator, a metallic armature with copper filaments inside forming circuits. It consists of a shaft and circuits that become electromagnets when a small amount of current is applied. When the rotor rotates at high speed thanks to the mechanical energy, small electric currents are produced on the copper filaments inside the stator, which in turn provides the generator with electromotive force capable of generating electricity for any device connected to the generator.
