Organic Fertilizer

Organic Fertilizer

We also offer Organic Fertilizer in different presentations.

Organic fertilizers are obtained from the combination of different materials, which in turn come from the decomposition and mineralization of the organic remains of animals and plants, such as manure and vegetable leftovers from grape harvests.

These organic fertilizers are applied in areas destined for sowing, with the purpose of considerably increasing the nutritional and mineral properties of soils. They provide large quantities of substances that will help transform its composition, increasing the microbial activity necessary for an excellent production.

There are several types of organic fertilizers, manure being the most common of them. Manure, depending on where it comes from, has different properties, but most varieties are usually composed of nitrate, potassium and phosphorus. Manure obtained from adult cattle will always be more potent than that from young animals.

Worm humus is the result of the decomposition of organic matter by the biological action of earthworms (Californian red worm - Eisenia foetida) and micro organisms that act over time.

Worm humus is a 100% natural organic fertilizer, obtained from the transformation of composted organic waste, by means of the California Red Worm. It improves porosity and moisture retention, increases the bacterial colony and its overdose does not generate problems. It has the best qualities constituting a fertilizer of excellent quality due to its properties and composition.

The action of the worms gives the substrate an added value, allowing it to be valued as a complete fertilizer and effective soil improver. It has an earthy, soft and odorless aspect, facilitating a better handling when applied, due to its stability it does not give rise to fermentation or putrefaction. It has a high content of macro and trace elements offering a balanced nutrition for plants. One of the main characteristics is its high content of microorganisms (beneficial bacteria and fungi) which allows to increase the biological activity of the soil.

It is defined as a living organism that acts on the organic substances of the soil where it is applied. It also contains good quantities of phytohormones. All these properties plus the presence of enzymes make this product very valuable for soils that have become sterile due to intensive farming, use of unbalanced chemical fertilizers and massive use of pesticides.
